Pool maintenance can be a challenge for some homeowners due to time constraints, uncertainty about what chemicals to use, or other reasons. Ignoring your pools chemical balance can be very destructive over time. Pool maintenance is critical for maintaining a safe and enjoyable pool throughout the swim season.

We offer a weekly pool service option to help customers keep their pool in top condition. While we refer to it as weekly, it can actually be done once a month, twice a month, or four times a month.

What does weekly pool service include? How long does it take?

Our pool service includes cleaning the pool with nets to remove any debris, emptying the leaf canister baskets, checking and adjusting the chemical balance in the pool, and adding chlorine tablets. Basically, it’s all the regular cleaning and chemical balance tasks a homeowner would need to do to keep their pool clean and functional.

Weekly pool service can take anywhere from 10 minutes to two hours depending on the condition of the pool.

How often do I need pool service?

Every pool is different, which is why we offer a range of options for pool service. If your backyard is surrounded by trees or if your pool is used frequently by lots of kids, weekly service is recommended to stay on top of the leaf debris and chemical balance. But if your pool is only used periodically and not much debris collects in the pool, twice a month or monthly is an option.

Can you service a pool installed by another company?

Yes! Many of our weekly pool service customers have a pool installed by another company, and we are happy to provide weekly pool service for them.

Can I use my pool immediately after weekly service?

If a weekly service visit involves routine cleaning and simply adding chlorine tablets, you may use your pool immediately after. If the chemical balance requires adding an acid to the pool to bring it into balance, you may need to wait up to 24 hours before using the pool. After each visit, we’ll email you a checklist of the cleaning tasks completed and chemicals added, as well as any additional instructions regarding pool use.

If you’re planning a pool party and want to balance the pool before (or treat the pool after), call our office so we can adjust your service date in advance.

Do I have to sign a contract?

Our pool service does not require a contract. Our goal is to provide outstanding customer service and make our customers happy. If you only need weekly pool service for a short period of time, we’re happy to provide that. We do bill customers every four weeks, so be sure to alert us before the end of a billing period if you don’t want to continue service to the next billing period. If you want to cancel, simply call our office and let us know.

What happens if you find a problem with my pool?

If we find a problem with your pool during weekly service, we’ll notify you of the problem and what’s necessary to fix it. For pools that we installed that are still under warranty, we’ll make the repair per the warranty. For pools we did not install or those no longer under warranty, we’ll let you know the cost for parts and labor to fix the problem.

If we have the parts already on our truck, we can fix it while on site for the cost of the parts and labor and won’t charge an additional service fee. However, if we have to order parts and make an additional trip, a service fee may apply.
